Facebook Saves the day

Facebook Saves the day!

Facebook hitching a ride on Twitter features…

Facebook now offers a SAVE option

If you see an amazing recipe or funny quote and want to be able to revisit it when you have more time then you can now save those links on facebook. This new option is similar to twitter favorites and all you have to do is click on the settings for each post and then click on Save Link.

Over the next few days this should be available to users on iOS, Android and the web. This new option is probably a result of all the complaints FB has recieved over the years that should be more like twitter, like their other updates Slingshot and Snapchat. But as long as it works, who’s complaining? We welcome any updates that improve our facebook experience. (Now if we could only get our reach back 🙂 )

“Every day, people find all sorts of interesting items on Facebook that they don’t have time to explore right away. Now you can save items that you find on Facebook to check out later when you have more time. You can save items like links, places, movies, TV and music. Only you can see the items you save unless you choose to share them with friends,” Facebook engineer Daniel Giambalvo wrote on the company’s official blog.
